FWLHD recognises and acknowledges all its nurses for their commitment to caring for others in celebrating International Nurses and Midwives Day each year.

We express our thanks and gratitude to our nursing and midwifery workforce for the care they deliver to our patients. Each year we award outstanding RN/RM, AIN, EN, Graduate Nurse and Team of the Year. International Nurses Day celebration activities include staff barbecues and dinners held for all nurses and midwives right across the District.
