MAKE FAR WEST PART OF YOUR JOURNEY

Our service is about ‘Life’ – preserving life, improving life and keeping people well – not just a place to come to when you are sick. Far West Local Health District aims to provide good experiences for people using public health services by making sure these services are of high quality, appropriate, safe, available when and where needed, and coordinated to meet each individual’s needs.

At Far West, we know our staff make a real difference to our patients, clients, carers and families, and our communities.

Our health services include facilities in several remote locations. These facilities offer an extensive range of services including mental health, dental, allied health, public health, Aboriginal health and multicultural health services.

Far West can help you to accelerate your growth and professional development. Many of our staff become multi-skilled through the identification of additional roles and duties they want to undertake. Far West offers performance and development opportunities and secondments into new roles to give you the opportunity to work in new teams in new environments.

Working in Far West will give you the skills and experience you need to work anywhere across our beautiful country.
